HOUSTON, Texas – Three-time All-WCC guard Khalil Shabazz has been selected to participate in the State Farm College Team Skills and 3X3U Championships at the Bayou Music Center in downtown Houston at 6:30 p.m. CT on March 29. The event will air on ESPN2 on April 2 at 9 p.m.
 
Capping off his career in the green and gold with a memorable year, Shabazz started and played in all 34 of USF's games this season as he finished in double figures in 24 of the 34 contests. Overall, the Seattle native eclipsed 20+ points 16 times and 30+ points three times.
 
Historically, Shabazz climbed the leaderboard in many statistical categories over the past few years as he ranks among the all-time greats following his career at USF. Overall, he finished his career ranked first all-time in program history in three-pointers made (299), three-pointers attempted (858), and field goals attempted (1,486) while also ranking third in steals (236), fourth in total points (1,804) and free-throw percentage (.819), eighth in games played (128), ninth in free throws made (339) and 13^th in field goals made (583).
 
A new event this year, the State Farm College Team Skills & 3X3U Championships will feature a dynamic roster of graduating college seniors competing in a variety of competitions including team shootouts, a skills relay and 3x3 basketball.
 
Intersport will stage three events during college basketball's most exciting weekend at the Bayou Music Center in downtown Houston, which it will dub Hoops House, providing ample programming for fans near and far to whet their basketball appetites ahead of the national semifinals and championship contests.
