SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. -- Former USF Dons women's basketball player
Jessica McDowell-White has signed a contract to compete for the NBL1 Lady Spartans of the semi-professional basketball league in her native Australia.
McDowell-White will be playing alongside her sister Hayley for the Lady Spartans in a league that features 76 different clubs located throughout the nation with 20 teams in the South Conference that the siblings will be competing in.
Jessica's time on the Hilltop helped spur the Dons to three consecutive appearances in the WNIT as she appeared in 83 games across three seasons while making 65 starts and never missing a game for USF. Helping to lead the offense as the point guard, McDowell-White averaged 5.7 PPG, 4.0 assists per game and 3.5 rebounds during her time as a Don on 36.4% shooting from the field and 31.5% from three-point range.
