LAWRENCE, Kan. – The University of San Francisco women's golf team recorded its third top-10 finish of the season when it concluded The Marilyn Smith Invitational in fourth place Tuesday afternoon at Lawrence Country Club.
TOURNAMENT RESULTS:
- Eva Pett paced the Dons as she recorded her best finish of the season, concluding the two-day event in a tie for 11th place with a two-over-par 218. Pett finished the tournament with nine birdies, matching Riana Mission for 20th out of the 66 competitors.
- Mission and Yvonne Shang followed behind as the duo tied for 23rd, shooting a seven-over-par 223. Shang climbed five spots on the player leaderboard in the final round, shooting a one-over-par 73 and recording three birdies.
- Jolie Chee rose 11 spots in the third round, recording a tournament-high three birdies to finish in a tie for 27th place with a 10-over-par 226.
- In her first tournament of the season, Rodaylin Mina finished in a tie for 58th, shooting a 24-over-par 240.
UP NEXT:
San Francisco concludes the fall portion of the season on Sunday, Oct. 20 – Tuesday, Oct. 22, when it competes in The Clash at Boulder Creek, hosted by Northern Arizona, at Boulder Creek Golf Club.
