DONS AT A GLANCE:
  • Returning from a one-week hiatus, USF rolled LMU in an 82-59 victory in Los Angeles on Saturday, Feb. 17 to give the Dons their sixth consecutive win. Ndewedo Newbury was named Player of the Game for his efforts after scoring a team-high 16 points on 6-of-10 shooting, which was highlighted by a posterizing dunk at the 17:38 mark of the second half.
  • Jonathan Mogbo logged another double-double in the win over the Lions with 10 points and 11 rebounds as the forward recorded his 14th double-double of the campaign, tied for the ninth-most in the nation. Robby Beasley put up his best performance in a Dons uniform against LMU, tallying 13 points on 5-of-7 shooting from the field and 3-of-5 from deep in 19 minutes on the floor, which all marked season-highs for the UC Davis transfer.
  • As a squad, USF continues to lead the WCC in steals per game (8.2), turnovers forced per game (12.7), and free throw percentage (78.9) within conference play along with ranking second in the league in points per game (81.3), total field goals made (356), and blocks per game (3.7).
  • Nationally, San Francisco ranks in the top 25 across Division I in scoring margin (12th/14.0), field goal percentage (13th/49.4%), free throw percentage (21st/77.1%), win percentage (T-23rd/77.8%) and steals per game (24th/8.8).
  • With ten wins in conference play, the green and gold have tied their conference win total from 2021-22 (10-6 WCC record). A win on Tuesday would give USF its eleventh conference win, the program's most in a season since the 2013-14 campaign (13-5).
  • Currently sitting at No. 60 in the NCAA's NET Rankings, Tuesday's game provides an opportunity for the Dons to capture their first Quad 1 victory of the season.
