CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – Four members of the University of San Francisco women's golf program were named to the 2023-24 Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholar Team, announced by the organization Monday morning.
Riana Mission,
Eva Pett,
Toni Sottile, and
Hannah Zeman are one of 1,497 women's collegiate golfers from 412 programs that were recognized with this prestigious honor.
The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics and continue to demonstrate the high-level academic achievements of our players.
To be selected, a student-athlete must have an overall cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher, be an amateur and on the team's roster through the conclusion of the team's season, and have played in 50 percent of the college's regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year nominated through the team's conference championship.
For the Dons, Sottile was named an All-American Scholar Athlete for the fourth consecutive year, Mission and Zeman for the third time, and Pett earned a spot on the list in back-to-back seasons.
