UNIVERSITY PLACE, Wash. –
Riana Mission paced the field as she earned her third-career individual title, shooting an eight-under-par 208 (67-68-73) for a tie for first place at the Leadership and Golf Invitational Tuesday afternoon at Chamber's Bay Golf Course.
The University of San Francisco women's golf team earned a tie for ninth place in its first tournament of the 2024-25 season, finishing with a 23-over-par 887 (293-297-297).
TOURNAMENT RESULTS:
- Grabbing an individual title for the third time, Mission led the Dons with 15 birdies throughout the tournament, totaling five apiece in each round. She shot under 70 in the first two rounds, marking the back-to-back rounds since posting a 69 and 67 in the opening rounds of The Clash at Boulder Creek last season.
- Eva Pett climbed the leaderboard during the final round, shooting an even-par 72 to finish in a tie for 30th with a six-over-par 222 (75-75-72).
- Rising 14 spots on the player leaderboard on the final day, Yvonne Shang earned a tie for 39th place with a nine-over-par 225 (76-76-73).
UP NEXT:
San Francisco returns to action on Monday, Sept. 30 – Tuesday, Oct. 1, when it competes in The Molly, hosted by California, at Bayonet & Black Horse Golf Course.
