SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - The University of San Francisco (USF) men's basketball program officially announces tipoff times for the upcoming 2025-26 season on Tuesday afternoon.
USF will host its first home game this Saturday, Oct. 25, when the Dons welcome Utah State for an exhibition at 7:00 pm. San Francisco will open the regular season at home on Monday, Nov. 3 against UC Santa Cruz at 7:00 pm.
Notably, USF will play in front of a national audience twelve times this year, including six games on CBS Sports Network and five games on ESPN networks.
Chris Gerlufsen enters year four at the helm of the Dons after guiding San Francisco to postseason appearances the past two seasons. In 2024-25, USF finished 24-9 overall, including a 13-5 mark in conference play, as the green and gold finished in the top three in the WCC in back-to-back years for the first time in 22 years (2001-02 and 2002-03). The Dons went on to earn a one-seed in the 2025 National Invitation Tournament (NIT) as the host of the San Francisco region, which included a first-round win over Utah Valley. USF also reached the semifinal round of the West Coast Conference (WCC) tournament for the fourth straight season.
