SAN BRUNO, Calif. – After a successful regular season, Riana Mission and Eva Pett have been named to the West Coast Conference All-Conference Team, announced by the league Tuesday afternoon.
For San Francisco, the announcement marks the fourth year in a row where at least two team members have earned a spot on the conference's prestigious list. Mission has garnered All-WCC honors for the fourth straight season, while Pett appears for the second time.
Posting five top-10 finishes throughout the 2024-25 season, Mission led the program with two individual titles, earning back-to-back first-place finishes at The Leadership and Golf Invitational and The Molly to begin the fall season. She also shot under par four times, highlighted by a 10-under-par performance at The Clash of Boulder Creek. Shooting under 70 a team-best seven times, she registered a season-low 67 in the second round of the Silverado Showcase in the final tournament of the regular season.
Mission tied for fifth place in the West Coast Conference Championship last week with a three-over-par 219. She totaled 10 birdies throughout the three-day event, tied for fourth most in the field, and recorded the lone eagle in the first round.
Pett shined throughout her junior season on the Hilltop as she registered her first-ever individual title at The Clash of Boulder Creek while leading the green and gold to a near wire-to-wire first-place team finish. Shooting a 15-under-par 201 throughout the tournament, Pett posted her best-ever score at the collegiate level, finishing under par in all three rounds while leading the 96-player field in total birdies with 18
Saving her best for last, Pett earned a tie for first place on the individual leaderboard at the West Coast Conference Championship with a four-under-par 212. Entering a playoff with Oregon State's Raya Nakao, Pett came up short on the second hole as Nakao won the individual title with a par putt. Pett shined on Par 5s, shooting seven-under-par to lead the field while posting a tournament-high 14 birdies.
