SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - The University of San Francisco women's soccer program and head coach
Pinder Nijjar are pleased to announce the addition of
Lauren Frohan as assistant coach.
"I have known Lauren since she was a junior in high school, and it has been amazing to see her growth and development," said Nijjar. "She was an exceptional player for the University of Pacific, and we crossed paths many times in the WCC. Her experience in our conference is vital, and I am looking to give Lauren the creative freedom to bestow that knowledge and experience on to our players. It's great to see young, passionate coaches wanting to forge a career in NCAA women's soccer, and I am constantly reminding myself of the responsibility we have to provide a platform to bring in young and hungry coaches to the game."
Originally from San Francisco, Frohan attended the University of the Pacific after graduating from Saint Ignatius High School. She would go on to play five years in Stockton, from 2019 to 2023, as she suited up as a winger for the Tigers. Frohan started in 53 of her 70 appearances across her career at Pacific, totaling eight goals (three game-winners), seven assists, 23 points, 106 shots, and 51 shots on target. Academically, Frohan was named a WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention from 2020 to 23. She also received the College Sports Communications (CSC) Academic All-District Team in 2023.
After her time in Stockton, Frohan played professionally in 2024 for FC Slovácko, a team in Fortuna Liga in the Czech Republic (first division in the Czech league).
