Women's Basketball Releases Full 2025-26 Schedule

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – The University of San Francisco women's basketball program and Head Coach Molly Goodenbour have officially announced the complete schedule for the upcoming 2025-26 season on Friday morning.

San Francisco enters the new season after concluding 2024-25 with a 15-16 overall record and placed fifth in the West Coast Conference (WCC) standings at 11-9. The double-digit win total in conference play marks the fourth time in the last five years the program has secured at least 10 WCC victories in a season. Along with its regular-season success, emphasized by a season sweep of Gonzaga, the green and gold secured its first win in the conference tournament since 2022, defeating LMU, 75-66, at Orleans Arena.

The program's nonconference schedule features 11 games, highlighted by six contests at War Memorial at the Sobrato Center. In addition to its high-level contests on the Hilltop, San Francisco will also compete at Chase Center for the sixth time in seven years, taking on Sacramento State on Wednesday, Dec. 17.

Noteworthy nonconference games include UNC Greensboro (Wednesday, Nov. 5) and UC San Diego (Sunday, Nov. 16), two teams that appeared in the 2025 NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Tournament, and contests against Power 5 opponents in Seton Hall (Friday, Nov. 14) and Arizona State (Saturday, Dec. 6).

Beginning a few days before the new year, San Francisco will kickstart its 18-game conference schedule at home when it hosts Oregon State and Portland on Thursday, Dec. 28, and Saturday, Dec. 30, respectively. The team will also face off against WCC newcomer Seattle U once this season on Thursday, Feb. 5, at Redhawk Center.

Returners from last season's roster comprise of Sol Castro and Paula Tirado, while talented transfers Olivia Williams (UC Irvine), Mara Neira (Presbyterian/Appalachian State), Meghan McIntyre (Southern Oregon), Nevaeh Ferrara Horne (North Dakota), Michelle Ugwah (Morehead State), and Candy Edokpaigbe (Seattle U) add depth and experience to the program. Noelia MouriñoAina CargolAmy PatemanNataša Taušová, and Sophia Priestley complete the roster as they enter their first seasons on the Hilltop as freshmen.
