GENERAL CAPSULE - Made an immediate impact in her first year for the Lady Dons... a very fluid player with agile technical ability... will be looked at to assist on both sides of the ball.

2001 SEASON - Came in as a defender for eight matches, getting seven starts... provided an assist in loss to Cal Sate Fullerton (9/30).

PREP CAREER - Three-year varsity letterman at St. Mary's High School... scored 64 goals with 48 assists for the Rams... named all-conference three years... team MVP senior year... received scholar athlete award... named to principal's list and honor roll... member of the National Honor Society... graduated in 2001.

PERSONAL - Katie Gabrielli... my goal for the season is to play at my highest level... the best things about being a student-athlete are meeting new people and being part of a team... the best advice I could give to youngsters is to work hard, be nice and have fun... hopes to play in WUSA after graduation... father played football at UC Davis... sister, Julie Gabrielli, plays soccer at Liberty University... daughter of Mark and Candy Gabrielli... born June 2, 1983.
