2010 SEASON: Led the Dons in digs with 3.95 per set… was sixth in digs per set in West Coast Conference matches… paced USF in digs in 16 matches… turned in five matches with 20 or more digs… played in all 27 matches and in 96 of the Dons’ 98 sets… put together 25 double-digit dig matches… registered seven matches with zero serve-receive errors… tallied 12 digs in her first collegiate match at Creighton (8/27)… set a career-high with 26 digs against Santa Barbara (9/3)… notched three service aces with 21 digs against Florida International (9/11)… totaled 10 digs and four assists against then-No. 10 California (9/17)… collected 24 digs at Gonaga (10/7)… tied her career-high with 26 digs and six assists at Portland (10/9)… finished the season with 22 digs against Santa Clara (11/19).

Prep/Club Career: Member of the 2009 and 2008 CIF State Division IV runner-up Christian Brother High School team that won two Northern California Championships and five section championships… Honorable mention selection for Sierra Valley Conference in 2009… best defensive player for CBHS in 2009 and 2008… club team finished 20^th in power league.

Personal: Whitney Anne Swain… daughter of Monic and Tony Swain… born July of 1992… also played two years of high school soccer… career goal is to contribute as much as possible, which includes being a supportive teammate… chose USF because she’s always wanted to go to school in a big city and her uncle went to USF… interests include playing soccer, hanging out with friends, shopping, going to the beach, Lake Tahoe and country music… major is business/communications.
