Ryan Gaynor Head Shot

Ryan Gaynor

Ryan Gaynor came to the Hilltop in the fall of 2022 after serving as a volunteer assistant coach at George Washington in 2021.

Previously, he also served as the manager for the Waterloo Bucks of the summer collegiate Northwoods League as well as a two-year stint as an assistant coach at Arkansas-Pine Bluff. A graduate of Arizona State, Gaynor has previous coaching experience with the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders of the Northwoods League and Santa Barbara City College.

Prior to SBCC, he spent five seasons with the Pittsburgh Pirates organization, four of which in which he served as the head of the Player Development program. With the Pirates, his responsibilities included data and video collection to aid advance scouting that was to be used for player acquisition, coaching and evaluation.

DiToma on Gaynor: "Ryan is a great addition to our staff.  He is very knowledgeable of important elements to a successful Division I baseball program both on and off the field.  He came highly recommended from George Washington University, and we will all benefit from what Ryan will bring to our program."
