2019-20 (RS JUNIOR): Was named to the All-WCC Second Team for the second consecutive season…played and started all 34 games logging a career-best 998 minutes…averaged 29.3 minutes per contest which was second on the team…finished with 491 points, averaging 14.4 points per game…is just the sixth player in the last 35 years to record back-to-back seasons with 450 or more points…  the 14.4 ppg was ninth most in the WCC…he scored his 1,000 point against Saint Mary’s on Jan. 2 – becoming the 38th player in USF history to score 1,000 points…he was named the WCC Player of the Week on Jan. 13, that same week he was also named the CollegeInsider Lou Henson Player of the Week after helping the Dons defeat Santa Clara and Pacific in back-to-back contests, in that week he averaged 22.0 points per game while shooting 52.2 percent from the field…finished with 27 games in double figures including five games with 20 or more…grabbed a career-best 160 rebounds, averaging 4.7 rebounds per contest…grabbed 10 or more rebounds four times including a 12 rebounds against Santa Clara on Feb. 22…finished with three double-doubles on the year – all coming in WCC play…in the West Coast Conference Tournament he averaged 18.7 points per game while shooting 55.3 percent from the field…was named to the WCC All-Academic Team for the second time.

2018-19 (RS SOPHOMORE): Earned All-West Coast Conference Second Team honors in his return to action...was named to the WCC All-Academic First Team...finished the year second on the team with 451 points, averaging 14.5 points per game...shot 41.6 percent from the field (159-382)...finished the year with 26 games with double-digit scoring games, including a streak of 21-straight games in the middle of the season...led the Dons in scoring 13 times this season...scored 20 or more five times this year...scored his 500th career point in the win over Northern Arizona on Dec. 19...averaged 4.7 rebounds per game which was fourth on the team, grabbed 145 rebounds...set his career-high three times this season, the first coming in his home debut against Maine on Nov. 10 going 6-for-10 from the field and 5-for-6 from 3-point range...scored 20 in the win over LIU Brooklyn...scored 13 points and had nine rebounds in the loss to No. 21 Buffalo in the championship game of the Belfast Classic...recorded his first career double-double in the Dons' win over Cal scoring 17 points and grabbing 11 rebounds...in WCC play he averaged 13.8 points per game with 4.3 rebounds per contest...shot 40.3 percent from the field in conference action (79-for-196)...scored 22 points on the road against Saint Mary's, 19 coming in the second half, went 6-for-8 from 3-point range, the six made 3-point field goals is a career-high...scored 17 points in the final game of the season against the eighth seeded Pepperdine Waves at the WCC Tournament.

2017-18 (SOPHOMORE): Did not see any action, utilized his redshirt season.

2016-17 (FRESHMAN): Selected to WCC’s All-Freshman team along with teammate Jordan Ratinho…appeared in all 33 games and made 17 consecutive starts to close the year…finished as the team’s third leading scorer with a 10.0 average…was the third-highest scoring freshmen in the WCC behind BYU’s TJ Haws and Gonzaga’s Zack Collins…his scoring average ranked tied for ninth on USF’s single-season freshmen list…scored a total of 329 points on the year, which ranked seventh all-time among USF freshmen…led the team in scoring on seven occasions…finished second on the team in three-pointers made with 51, which ranked third all-time among USF freshmen behind Ali Thomas (75; 1997-98) and Jordan Ratinho (55; 2016-17)…his three-point percentage of .370 (51-for-138) ranked seventh best in school history among freshman…posted 17 double-figure scoring games…scored 10 or more points in 11 of the first 14 games, capped off by a season-best 20-point outing in the WCC opener against San Diego…got off to a fast start… averaged 12.0 points and shot 52.7 percent from the field over the first 14 games of the season…also made 30 of his first 58 three-pointers (51.7) on the year…was named to the all-tournament team at the Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic after averaging 13.3 points in USF’s three games against Utah, Illinois State and San Diego State…took team-high scoring honors with 18 points in the title game against San Diego State, making 6-of-14 shots from the floor, including 4-of-5 three-pointers...averaged 9.1 points and shot 36.9 percent from the floor in 18 WCC games.

HIGH SCHOOL AND PERSONAL: Graduated from Concord (N.C.) First Assembly Academy…played for head coach Frankie Cantadore…averaged 26.0 points and 5.5 rebounds a game as a senior and 23.8 points and 6.0 rebounds as a junior…two-time all-state selection…earned Metrolina Athletic Conference first-team honors as a junior and senior and MAC player of the year honors as a senior…helped the Eagles to the NCISAA 2A State Championship and a 25-8 overall record as a senior after a pair of runner-up finishes…National Honors Society member who graduated high school with a 4.5 grade point average…parents are Charles and Tracey Minlend…has one sister (Ashley) and two younger brothers (Jordan and James)…his father was a standout player at St. John’s from 1992-96…his uncle Raymond Minlend played college basketball at Davidson and St. Francis…enjoys music, watching sports and writing…plans to major in computer science…full name is Charles Alexander Minlend, Jr….born Dec. 19, 1997 in New York City.
