Follow San Francisco Men's Soccer: FACEBOOK | TWITTER SAN BRUNO, Calif.—After finishing the 2014 campaign tied for second place in the West Coast Conference, the Dons has honored by having 10 players named to All-WCC teams including
Danny Kirkland and
Miguel Aguilar who were named to the First Team.
The Dons' 10 selections was the most of any team in the conference, is the most they have ever had named to All-WCC teams and the first time since 2008 (Jeff Russell, Conor Chinn) that the team has had multiple first team selections.
Aguilar, who finished with four goals and three assists, was named to an all-conference squad for the fourth time and it is his first selection to the All-WCC First Team. For Kirkland, who finished tied for fourth in the WCC in goals with six, it was his first all-conference honor.
David Romney was selected to the All-WCC Second Team after competing in all 19 games and picking up a team-best six assists. He had previously been named an All-WCC honorable mention twice and to the All-Freshman Team.
San Francisco also had six named to the All-WCC honorable mention team, which included five first timers.
Christian De Luna,
Aaron Lombardi,
Chase Hauser,
Manny Padilla and
Davi Ramos all made their first appearance on the team.
Joshua Smith made his third straight honorable mention team.
Lombardi and Padilla also made the All-Freshman squad along with
Bryce Kaminski.
