2014 SCHEDULE
2014 ROSTER

SAN FRANCISCO—The Dons rallied for a series win last weekend and will wrap up the 2014 campaign this weekend with a visit from UC Santa Barbara and California.

San Francisco has had an eventful season with many ups and downs and has had a slew of memorable moments, including some incredible individual and team accomplishments. A win over two Top-10 teams, a Golden Spikes Award nominee and a school record broken. It all concludes this weekend with three against UC Santa Barbara and a Monday finale against California.

PITCHING PROBABLES
Friday: Grant Goodman (3-4, 4.27 ERA)
Saturday: Christian Cecilio (5-7, 3.98)
Sunday: Abe Bobb (3-4, 5.21)
Monday: Sheldon Lee (5-2, 3.24)

SENIOR DAY SUNDAY
The Dons' series finale on Sunday against UC Santa Barbara will mark Senior Day on the Hilltop and it will wrap up the final home weekend for the team's six seniors. Abe Bobb, Ben Graff, Zack Turner, Jesse DeLong, Houston Hibberd and Michael Kathan will be part of the final weekend for USF as they play Senior Day.

HIBBERD SETS SAVES RECORD
Houston Hibberd came in with one out in the eighth inning on Saturday with a 5-3 lead and retired his two batters in order to hang onto the two-run lead and did the same in the ninth to pick up his 10th save of the season, which set a new single season record on the Hilltop. The record was previously held by Adam Cimber, who recorded nine last season. Hibberd picked up another save on Sunday and now has 11 for the season.

ZIMMER NAMED TO GOLDEN SPIKES 30-MAN WATCH LIST
Bradley Zimmer has proven many predictions right with his play so far this season and can add another accomplishment to his resume as he was named to USA Baseball's Golden Spikes Award Midseason Watch List. He was one of 30 players recognized on the list. Earlier this season, he recorded a 19-game hitting streak, which lasted from Mar. 9 to Apr. 8. He has had multiple hits in 12 of the 19 games and carried a .453 batting average with a .534 on-base percentage.

MR. CLUTCH
Derek Atkinson has been one of the Dons' more consistent hitters all season and it has shown in his numbers. He leads the team with 42 RBI on the season and has come through in the biggest of moments. With runners on base, he is hitting .406 and with runners in scoring position is hitting .400.

ZIMMER WINS BILL RUSSELL AWARD
Bradley Zimmer was honored at the Third Annual Hilltop Awards on Sunday by being presented with the Bill Russell Award, given to the school's top male athlete. A consensus preseason All-America selection, Zimmer ranks near the top in virtually every offensive category in the WCC. A projected first round pick in next month's First Year Player Draft, he currently leads the Dons in batting, hits, runs scored, triples, home runs and total bases. Zimmer was also a standout on Team USA's Collegiate Baseball Team last summer.

GIARRATANO LEGACY
Head coach Nino Giarratano enters his 16th season at the helm of the USF baseball team and is the winningest coach in the program's history with 458. He is also the third winningest coach in WCC history, behind John Cunningham (USD, 524) and current San Diego coach Rich Hill (657). With the win over Kansas State on Feb. 18, Giarratano passed Santa Clara's John Oldman for third on that list (433).
