2013 All-West Coast Conference Team

2013 SEASON: Turner stepped in and immediately made an impact... Had team-bests in home runs (8), RBI (62), hits (76) and batting average (.333), was also second on the team in doubles (15)... Recorded five games with four or more RBI including a five RBI burst on May 9 at BYU... named to the All-WCC Team.

COLLEGE CAREER BEFORE USF: Named 2010 Junior College All-American player of the year at Canada College (Redwood City, Calif.) … hit .370 with 12 home runs and 55 RBI’s to win his division’s triple crown … 2012 player of the year, All-American, Big Stick award winner and gold glove award recipient.
 
PREP CAREER: Varsity baseball MVP, most valuable hitter, All-Bay Area and first-team all-league in high school … member of WCAL and CCS championship squads.

PERSONAL:  Born March 1991 in Redwood City, Calif. … father is Kenneth Turner … mother is Casey Herrera … engaged to high school sweetheart  Hailey Austin ... majoring in Business Administration with emphasis in entrepreneurial studies … biggest thrill was winning the CCS championship … enjoys golf, hunting and fishing … favorite sports hero is Mickey Mantle … chose USF because of the quality of players and coaches ... interesting fact: grandfather changed last name from Turturici to Turner.
