In partnership with the SF-Marin Food Bank, USF Athletics will be offering fans discounted tickets to select upcoming home athletic events in exchange for non-perishable food items during the holiday season.
Â
Beginning with Tuesday night's women's volleyball match against Pacific, fans may make a donation of one non-perishable food item in exchange for a discounted admission of $5.00. For all remaining men's and women's non-conference home games, fans may make a donation of a non-perishable item for a $5 discount off a general admission ticket. This offer will be applicable for Wednesday night's men's game against Troy, which tips off at 7:00 p.m. in War Memorial at The Sobrato Center.
Â
Please note only one discounted ticket per fan will be available regardless of the number of donated items.
Â
Non-perishable food items include but are not limited to canned fruits and vegetables, canned tuna or meat, soup, chili, beans, cereal and granola bars. No glass or perishable items, please. All donations will be distributed to over 450 community partners of the San Francisco-Marin Food Bank and will be used to prepare meals for those in need or to supplement larger deliveries.
