Last Time Against the Aggies: Three weeks back, the Dons took on UCD in Davis, Calif. for their first of two one-game matchups this season. The game would go into extras with the teams tied at seven. The Aggies would ultimately earn a 9-7 win in 12-innings. After UCD took a four-run lead with four runs in the fifth, the Dons would answer back two innings later with four of their own. Michael Perri would drive the first run of the inning in with a single, then a ground out from Ross Puskarich, single from Tyler Villaroman and a double from Jack Winkler would drive in the three runs.

In It to Win It: The Dons earned a vital 6-2 win in their final WCC game of the year over BYU, which clinched a spot in the WCC Playoffs. The Dons join Pepperdine, with the final seeding yet to be determined as Gonzaga, LMU and Saint Mary's are all vying for the final two spots in the playoffs. This will be the Dons first trip to Stockton for the WCC playoffs since 2013 where they made it to the final game before losing to San Diego, 0-2. USF would earn a NCAA berth to the 2013 Regionals in Eugene, Ore.  

The Nod Goes to Pham: Freshman Alex Pham will get the nod for the Tuesday slot for the second consecutive week. Last week, Pham would go into the fourth before Benji Post would come on in relief. After three strong innings, the freshman would struggle in the fourth inning allowing two hits, one being lead-off home run, and two walks.

Home Stretch: This is the final week of regular season baseball for the Dons this season, with all games coming against non-conference opponents. USF will host Kansas State on Thursday through Saturday. Saturday's game we will have a special ceremony for our seniors playing their final game at Benedetti Diamond.
