Alex Pham West Coast Conference Pitcher of the Week honors for the week of March 2-8 on Monday.

Pham made three appearances during the week, closing down three San Francisco victories while going 1-0 with a save and just one run allowed all week.

He threw four innings of relief on the road at California on Friday, earning a save and helping the Dons secure a 4-1 series-opening victory. He struck out four and didn't walk any while only giving up two hits in that outing. He earned his third win of the year (3-0) on Sunday when he threw two scoreless innings in the ninth and 10th. He struck out four again and only allowed one hit. Tuesday, he threw a scoreless ninth to wrap up the Dons' 8-2 win over Mount St. Mary's.

He held opponents to just a .115 batting average and carried a 4-to-1 strikeouts-to-walks ratio while only allowing one run during the week (1.29 ERA).

Pepperdine's Mike Malinchak was named the WCC Player of the Week alongside Pham's Pitcher of the Week nod.
