Tuesday Testimonial | Tagg Bozied

SAN FRANCISCO – One of the greatest home run hitters in college baseball history, Tagg Bozied assaulted the USF baseball record book.  In this week's edition of Tuesday Testimonials, USF Executive Senior Associate Athletics Director, Frank Allocco, talks with Bozied on how he chose baseball, what it means to be in the USF Hall of Fame and the WCC Hall of Honor, and his legendary home run power.

Allocco begins by asking Bozied what made him choose baseball – as a multi-sport athlete growing up who earned all-conference honors not only in baseball, but football and basketball as well.  Bozied goes on to discuss the significance of being named to the USF Hall of Fame, as well as the WCC Hall of Honor.

The two move on to Bozied's famed home run hitting ability.  The all-time leader in USF history with 60, his 30 home runs as a sophomore would still be good enough for fifth all-time on the Hilltop.

The two go on to discuss how a walk-on goes on to become an All-American, his experience playing in the minor leagues, and the Major League Baseball draft.
