SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – The West Coast Conference officially announced its All-Academic honors for the 2024 baseball season on Monday morning.
For San Francisco, nine team members achieved recognition, with
Max Jones being selected to the WCC All-Academic Team and
Logan Azem,
Gabriel Barrett, Hunter, Holzemer,
Patrick Keighran,
Matt McConnell,
Lance Santerre,
Adam Shew, and
Mattie Thomas earned Honorable Mention honors. Overall, this marks the first time Jones has earned a First Team selection.
At the conclusion of each athletic season, the WCC selects an all-academic squad for each WCC-sponsored sport. To be considered, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average, while also being a significant contributor to his team and in at least their second year at their school.
