**Release provided by Chase Center**

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - Chase Center will host a West Coast Conference (WCC) game between the University of San Francisco (USF) Dons and the Gonzaga Bulldogs men's basketball teams on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, it was announced today. The game will air live on ESPN. Tip-off time will be announced at a later date.

The matchup will mark the ninth time the USF men's basketball team has played at Chase Center and the third time against Gonzaga. This game follows the USF Legacy Doubleheader at Chase Center on Wednesday, December 17, featuring the USF women's basketball team taking on Sacramento State, followed by the men's team hosting Loyola Chicago.

Tickets for the San Francisco vs. Gonzaga men's basketball matchup will go on sale to the general public on Thursday, October 16, at 12:00 p.m. PT at chasecenter.com.

Following its third postseason appearance in four years, USF men's basketball team returns seven student-athletes from last year, including All-WCC guards Tyrone Riley IV and Ryan Beasley. Entering his fourth year as head coach of the Dons, Chris Gerlufsen led USF toward a No. 1 seed in the National Invitation Tournament last season. USF has earned back-to-back top-three finishes in the WCC, marking the first time in 22 years (2001-02 and 2002-03) the team has accomplished that feat.

Regarded as one of the perennial powerhouses in collegiate basketball, Gonzaga has appeared in 26 consecutive NCAA Tournaments, including nine of the last 10 Sweet 16s, and is the only program to win its opening-round NCAA Tournament game each of the last 16 tournaments. Last season, the Bulldogs won 26 games before falling to national runner-up Houston in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. The Zags extended their NCAA record with their 18th consecutive season of 25 or more wins and have won a share of the WCC crown in 11 of the past 13 seasons. Head Coach Mark Few enters his 27th season at the helm of the Bulldogs and owns the top winning percentage among active coaches in the country (.830).
