SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – The University of San Francisco baseball team and Head Coach Rob DiToma have officially announced the schedule for the upcoming 2026 season.

"We are very excited to start our season right here at Benedetti Diamond with a series against Western Illinois," DiToma said. "Overall, the schedule features weekend series against in-state opponents San Jose State, California Baptist, and UC Riverside, along with welcoming in UMass Lowell for a weekend before the always challenging West Coast Conference slate. There is great energy and enthusiasm around the program right now as we are working very hard to get ready for the upcoming challenges of these opponents."

The 2026 season features 53 games, with 31 contests being played on the Hilltop at Benedetti Diamond. San Francisco begins the nonconference slate at home for the fourth time in the last five seasons when it hosts Western Illinois for three games on February 13 – 15.

Along with their season-opening series against the Leathernecks, the Dons are set to compete in five total series throughout the opening two months of the season, highlighted by two four-game sets against California Baptist and UMass Lowell on February 26 – March 1 and March 6 – 9 at home. San Francisco also faces off against San Jose State and UC Riverside before beginning West Coast Conference play.

San Francisco is slated to compete in nine West Coast Conference series, including a matchup with conference newcomer Seattle U. The program begins league play on March 20, when it hosts Santa Clara for a three-game set at Benedetti Diamond.

Other home WCC series include Seattle U (March 27 – 29), San Diego (April 10 – 12), Pacific (April 24 – 26), and Gonzaga (May 8 – 10).

Notable nonconference midweek contests include Nevada (March 24), UC Davis (March 31), Sacramento State (April 14), California (April 21), and Stanford (May 6).

The program concludes the regular season on the road when it takes on Saint Mary's on May 14 – 16 at Louis Guisto Field.
