SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - The University of San Francisco Department of Athletics proudly announces the appointment of Everett Jacobs as the new Head of Strategic Partnerships and Corporate Engagement, signaling a bold new chapter for San Francisco Athletics as it adapts to the rapidly evolving college sports landscape.
With more than 20 years of experience in sponsorship sales, strategic partnerships, and business development, Jacobs brings a proven track record of success working with global brands such as AT&T, Kaiser Permanente, Cisco, Levi's, Lexus, and Oracle. His appointment arrives at a pivotal moment for college athletics, as Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) and the recent
House v. NCAA settlement dramatically reshape how institutions engage student-athletes and supporters.
As the only NCAA Division I athletics program in the City, San Francisco Athletics is uniquely positioned to partner with the Bay Area's vibrant business community to elevate student-athlete opportunities, transform fan experiences, and pioneer innovative revenue strategies.
"Everett is a dynamic and visionary leader whose deep relationships and industry expertise will bring a new level of innovation and collaboration to our program," said San Francisco Director of Athletics
Larry Williams. "In a time when the collegiate athletics model is being reinvented, his leadership will help us build strategic partnerships that not only support our programs, especially men's and women's basketball, but also provide tangible value to companies that want to align with the heart of San Francisco's resurgence."
Jacobs' vision includes the creation of custom partnerships that activate across media, in-venue, digital platforms, and NIL channels - offering corporate partners unprecedented access to San Francisco's diverse, global fan base and the rising generation of student-athlete influencers.
A New Era in San Francisco:
This announcement comes at a time of reinvention not just for college sports, but for the city of San Francisco. As downtown businesses, tech innovators, and civic leaders look toward renewal, San Francisco Athletics invites the corporate community to join the movement and help write the next chapter in the city's comeback story.
"There is no better time to engage the energy, creativity, and corporate power of the Bay Area," said Jacobs. "We're not just building sponsorships – we're building a platform where purpose, performance, and partnership converge to lift our city and our university together."
Whether it's courtside branding, NIL collaborations, or integrated campaigns that connect mission-driven companies with a national audience, San Francisco Athletics is offering unique, exclusive opportunities for brand alignment and long-term impact.
