SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – The University of San Francisco baseball team (19-20, 10-6) fell behind early and fell to Pacific (16-23, 8-8) 10-5 in the series opener Friday afternoon at Benedetti Diamond.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT:

Trailing 6-0 in the bottom of the fourth inning, Jayden Garrison put San Francisco on the board with an RBI single, scoring Jared Lewis from second base.
After Pacific extended its lead to 9-1, TJ Rogers trimmed the deficit to 9-2 with an RBI double, plating Tyler Harries, in the bottom of the seventh.
Three runs came across for the green and gold to bring the game to 10-5 in the following frame, highlighted by RBI base hits from Garrison and Rogers.
Despite having the tying run in the on-deck circle in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Dons failed to score as the Tigers secured the victory.

NOTABLE PERFORMANCES:

Garrison paced San Francisco offensively throughout the contest, going three-for-five at the plate, with a double, two RBI, and a run scored.
Rogers, Myles Kallinger, and Zack Ramppen also recorded multi-hit performances, combining for six hits, three RBI, and two runs scored.
On the mound, Trevor Busby pitched a clean ninth inning, allowing one hit and recording two strikeouts.
