SAN BRUNO, Calif. – The West Coast Conference (WCC) has officially released its bracket for the 2026 WCC Baseball Tournament on Wednesday, May 20 – Saturday, May 23 in Scottsdale, Ariz.
Following a successful regular season, finishing with a 24-28 overall record and 15-12 in league play, the University of San Francisco baseball team secured the No. 3 seed for the upcoming tournament at Scottsdale Stadium. The Dons' 15 conference victories mark the most accumulated by the team in a season while tying the best finish in the standings since 2021.
San Francisco secured its tournament bid following a series win at Saint Mary's in the final weekend of the season, the first time in program history that the team has earned back-to-back postseason appearances. The Dons earned a place in the six-team field in 2025, the program's first appearance in the WCC Tournament since the 2022 season.
The green and gold are set to take on No. 6 seed Santa Clara at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 20, the fourth time the Dons will face off against the Broncos this season. San Francisco swept Santa Clara in the first conference series of the season at Benedetti Diamond on March 20-23, the first three-game sweep of the Broncos since 2019.
