2014 All-West Coast Conference Team

2015 SEASON (Senior): A Preseason All-WCC selection, Atkinson played in all 54 games and hit .275, sixth on the team, with a career-high five home runs and 26 RBI... was even better in WCC play with a .302 average with four home runs and 15 RBI... hit home runs in back-to-back games at San Diego (April 18-19) as part of a sweep of the Toreros... went 2-for-5 including a three-run home run that was the deciding blow in a 6-2 win over San Diego... had multiple hits in four of his final five games... had a season-long nine-game hitting streak from April 2 to 14... named to an All-WCC Honorable Mention. 

SUMMER 2014: Played in 14 games for the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox of the Cape Cod Baseball League... hit .282 for the summer... helped the Red Sox claim the CCBL championship.

2014 SEASON (Junior): Possibly the Dons most consistent hitter during the 2014 season... hit .330 with a home run, a team-high 44 RBI and eight stolen bases... hit .392 with runners in scoring position... from Apr. 18 to Apr. 25, had a four-game stretch where he went 9-for-17 with eight RBI and included a bases-clearing double at Nevada to give the Dons a 4-1 win... had 14 games of at least two RBI... named to All-WCC Team for first time.

2013 SEASON (Sophomore): Played in 43 games for the Dons and hit .304 (third on the team) with two home runs and 19 RBI... He went 2-for-4 with an RBI in the first game of the WCC Championships against Gonzaga.
 
PRIOR TO USF (CLACKAMAS CC): Freshman year received all-region honors hitting .315 ... redshirt his sophomore season ... two year honor roll student. 

PREP CAREER: Was a three-sports athlete at Camas High School ... earned three All-League selection honors and one All-State selection ... named to the All-Conference Academic team four times. 

PERSONAL: Majoring in finance ... goal for the season is to help the Dons win a conference championship ... chose his jersey number because Alex Rodriguez wore it for the Seattle Mariners ... chose USF because of the big city life, but the small school feel ... favortie movie is 'Shooter' ... lists steak and potatoes as his favorite food.
