2015 SEASON (Senior): Played in 39 games with 25 starts... picked up his first multi-hit game as a Don on Feb. 14 at No. 5 Texas Tech... had 14 hits in 65 at bats.

PRIOR TO USF (Portland): McCoy played three seasons at the University of Portland before transferring to USF… played in 78 games and nearly 200 at bats in his time with the Pilots.
 
PREP CAREER: Played for Westview High School (San Diego, Calif.)… Second Team All-League in 2010 for the Wolverines … participated in the CBCA North-South California All-Star game … Defensive Team MVP for three seasons … led the Wolverines to the 2009 Valley League Championship title … earned 2009 All-Academic Team honors.
 
PERSONAL: Zack is one of three children of Jeff and Kim McCoy… his brother, Nick, played for San Diego for five years before being drafted by the New York Yankees in 2010 and is currently in the Yankees minor league system… his sister, Kate, played water polo for Arizona State… enjoys surfing and fishing… marketing major… born on May 24, 1992 in San Diego, Calif.
