SAN FRANCISCO — The annual West Coast Conference #WCChoops Tip-Off event takes place this week as the 2018-19 basketball season draws near, with the conference basketball media days taking place on Wednesday and Thursday at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, the site of the 2019 WCC Championship Tournament.

The women's media day will be held Wednesday starting at 10 a.m. San Francisco third-year head coach
Molly Goodenbour and returning senior guard

The men's media day will be held on Thursday, also starting at 10 a.m. San Francisco head coach
Kyle Smith, entering his third season, along with returning senior guard

Programming for the Tip-Off event will include live studio segments carried live exclusively online by TheW.tv, exclusive behind the scenes content via Facebook Live and Instagram, traditional media interviews and on-court demonstrations. The event will run from approximately 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. each day and will feature the head coach and a student-athlete from each WCC institution. The 2018-19 WCC Preseason Poll and All-WCC team for both genders will be unveiled by approximately 10:15 a.m. on their respective days.
