Women's Basketball Signs Amy Pateman for 2025-26 Season

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – The University of San Francisco women's basketball team and Head Coach Molly Goodenbour have announced the signing of Amy Pateman for the 2025-26 season.
 
Pateman enters her first season on the Hilltop following a four-year career at Westlake Girls High School in Auckland, New Zealand. During her time at Westlake, Pateman shined, averaging 20.5 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game. She also helped guide the program to three New Zealand Secondary School titles, including a 59-48 win over Manurewa High School in the Grand Final on September 7, 2024, in the final game of her career.
 
At the national level, Pateman was a part of the New Zealand national team that competed in the 2022 U17 World Cup, appearing in seven games and averaging 2.4 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 0.7 assists.
 
Additionally, she participated in Basketball Without Borders, the Steven Adams Invitational Camp, and played in NBA Academy games. During her time with Basketball Without Borders in 2023, Pateman averaged 4.7 points per game in six contests.
 
For San Francisco, Pateman marks the program's first recruit for the upcoming season.
