PREP CAREER: Harrison put together stellar numbers in his sophomore and junior seasons for Palisades Charter High School (Pacific Palisades, Calif.)... threw 42.1 innings and struck out 45 while compiling a 2.23 ERA in his sophomore year... followed it up with a 1.30 ERA his junior year and struck out 80 in 71 innings... in his junior season, he threw two consecutive complete games with 10 or more strikeouts and no walks... team won the Western League championship in each of these seasons... did not play his senior year due to injury.
PERSONAL: Harrison is one of three sons of Robyn and Brian... he has a twin brother, Spencer, and an older brother, Brandon... Brandon pitched for Willamette University in Salem, Ore. and was the Friday starter... enjoys cooking, golfing, and going to the beach.
