2007 SEASON: Played in 20 games, making threestarts... had 4.09 ERA, 3-3 record in 44.0 IP... earned first winin Green and Gold after pitching 7.1 innings and allowing threeearned runs on eight hits against UC Riverside (2/13/07)... pitched0.2 innings of shutout ball versus Baylor (3/9/07)... worked aninning of relief, allowing one hit and no runs, in win overSouthern Utah (3/22/07)... in 13-5 victory against Southern Utah(3/24/07) pitched scoreless eighth... completed five inningsallowing one run on five hits in USF's 17-2 win over Nevada(4/17/07)... earned win in USF's 11-10 win against Saint Mary's(5/13/07) to close the season. AT UNIVERSITY OF ARIZONA(2005-2006): Finished two year career as a Wildcat with a2-1 record and a 5.56 ERA in 26 apperances (one start), one save,and 48 strikeouts in 52 innings pitched... during the 2005 Pac-10season, led the team with 10 appearances, 2.38 ERA, 1-1 record, and19 strikeouts in 22.2 innings pitched. PREPCAREER: Played three years of varsity baseball at DeerValley High School... in his junior season, had a 10-2 record witha 1.68 ERA and 95 strikeouts in 75 innings pitched... also was theNorth Coast winning pitcher at Oakland Coliseum.PERSONAL: Matt Baugh... goal for the season is tostay relaxed and make as many pitches as he can... chose USFbecause the program is on the rise and the coaching staff isgreat... hobbies include playing poker, watching movies, andexploring new and fun things... parents are Eric and Lori Baugh...born on November 2, 1986 in Walnut Creek, CA.
