SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – The University of San Francisco baseball team (7-5) returns to the Hilltop to take on Saint Peter's University (4-7) in a four-game series on Friday, March 8 – Sunday, March 10, at Benedetti Diamond.

- San Francisco competed on the road for the first time this season last weekend, splitting a four-game series at faced CSU Bakersfield. The Dons took care of business in the first game, earning an 11-7 come-from-behind victory on Friday, Mar. 1, followed by a 5-2 win in the second game of the doubleheader on Saturday, Mar 2.
- Logan Schweizer had a solid start to the series against the Roadrunners, totaling two hits in four at-bats and a season-high five RBI in Friday's opening game.
- Recording his fourth home run of the season, Michael Campagna launched a solo shot in the seventh inning on Friday. Campagna's four home runs in 12 games place him tied for fourth place in the WCC. A solid overall hitter to start 2024, he sits in 10th place in the conference in slugging percentage at .667.
- Gabriel Barrett had a solid performance on the mound in the Dons' 5-2 win in the second game of Saturday's doubleheader, throwing 4.2 innings with nine strikeouts and holding the Roadrunners scoreless. Barrett leads the WCC with a 0.00 earned-run average and ranks third in batters struck out looking with a total of eight this season.
- As a team, San Francisco leads the WCC and ranks 45th nationally in earned-run average at 4.08. Six players have accumulated a 3.00 earned-run average or lower this season, led by Barrett. In the field, the Dons are tied for third overall in the league in fielding percentage at 0.976.
- Saint Peter's continues its road stretch after taking the series against Norfolk State last time out on Friday, Mar. 1 – Sunday, Mar. 3.
- Tyler Cotten serves as the Peacocks' top offensive threat as he has recorded a hit in 10 of the team's 11 games, accumulating a .390 batting average. He also leads the team in home runs with six on the year.
- On the mound, Jonny Gilligan has been a strong performer for the Peacocks, pitching 11 innings with a 4.91 earned-run average this season. Against Norfolk State last Sunday, Gilligan pitched five innings, allowed two runs on four hits, and recorded seven strikeouts.
- As a team, Saint Peter's is third overall in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference with 98 hits and leads in home runs with 17 total over the course of 11 games.
