SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Following a stellar performance off the bench in a massive road win at Gonzaga,
Angeliki Ziaka has been named Heluva Good Dip West Coast Conference Freshman of the Week for the second time this season, announced by the conference Monday morning.
Averaging 7.5 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game in two contests last week, Ziaka played a crucial role in the win at Gonzaga on Saturday, Feb. 22.
Coming off the bench, Ziaka scored 12 points on 45.5 percent (five-for-11) shooting while connecting on two of her five three-point attempts. Her go-ahead three-pointer late in the game helped secure the victory over the Bulldogs.
