2011 CROSS COUNTRY: USF’s firstcross-country All-American enjoyed most decorated season by anindividual in program history… ran five races for the Donsin first collegiate season… matched the USF all-time bestrunner-up finish at the West Coast Conference Championship in aprogram record 20:23 (6k)... placed 25th at the NCAA West Regionalin 20:55 (6k)... set the program standard for the top finish andtime in the NCAA Championship with a 26th place showingin 20:31 (6k)... All-WCC First Team, All-NCAA West Region, DivisionI All-American (first ever for USF).

AMATEUR CAREER:
Placed 14th in the 5000M at the 2011Under-23 European Championships and 27th in the 2010 Under-23European Cross Country Championships (6K)... Estonian NationalChampion in the Under-23 1500M, 3000M and Cross Country in 2011...Estonian National Record holder in the Under-23 5K at 16:34... haspersonal bests of 2:12 in the 800M, 4:27 in the 1500M, 9:25 in the3000M.

Laura Suur... daughter of Sirje Suur... born inApril of 1990... chose USF because she likes the small universityand loves the city of San Francisco, and because the training styleis similar to what she has done previously... goals includebreaking 16-minutes in the 5K and 4:20 in the 1500M, as well asqualifying for the 5K in the 2016 Olympics and represent her nativeEstonia internationally... major is Biology.
