2011 FIRST TEAM ALL-WEST COAST CONFERENCE
2011 SEASON: Tied for the team lead in home runs with four… second on the team with a .483 slugging percentage, doubles (19) and extra base hits (25)… 19 doubles put him in a tie for the sixth best single-season total in school history… led the team during WCC play with a .385 batting average… was named WCC Player of the Week on April 18… played in 53 games and started 49 of them with the 37 of them coming behind the plate and the other 12 at designated hitter… turned in 14 multiple base hit games and seven multi-RBI games… notched a double and triple with a walk against New Mexico State (3/5)… went 2-for-3 and was hit by a pitch at Arizona (3/20) and followed with a 2-for-4 performance with two RBIs and a home run the next day against the Wildcats (3/21)… first three-hit game of the season came at Portland (4/16) where he hit a home run, double and totaled three RBI and three runs scored on 3-for-4 hitting… hit his second home run of the series against Portland (4/17) after going 2-for-4 with two RBIs…turned in four RBIs against San Francisco State (4/26) with two doubles… went 3-for-5 at San Diego (5/7) with a double… collected a double, triple and walk against Pepperdine (5/14)…was 2-for-4 with a double at Gonzaga (5/28)… added an RBI and hit against No. 12 UCLA in the NCAA Los Angeles Regional (6/5).
2010 SUMMER: Appeared in 22 games for the Bend Elks, a team that plays in the West Coast League, in Oregon.
2010 SEASON: Played in 31 games and started 10… hit .220 with eight RBI and six doubles… went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI at Pacific (2/20)… hit a double in his only at bat against UC Riverside (3/20)… notched a homerun and was hit by a pitch against BYU (3/31)… blasted his first career grand slam at UC Davis (4/13)… went 2-for-4 with a homerun at New Mexico (4/20)… stole two bases at Loyola Marymount (4/23)… hit an RBI double against Portland (5/15).
2009 SEASON: Played in 22 games and started seven as a sophomore... led team in overall batting average at .379 (11-for-29)... had two doubles, one homerun, three RBI, five runs scored, and four walks... hit first collegiate homerun at New Mexico State (3/21)... first career two-hit game was a two-double affair at Cal State Bakersfield (4/1)... also had two hits at LMU (4/11)... third two-hit game came at then No. 13 Cal Poly (5/2)
2008 SEASON: Played in 12 games as a freshman... earned first collegiate hit and added two RBI versus Fairleigh Dickinson (3/22).
2007 SEASON: Redshirt.
PREP CAREER: Played four years of baseball at Deer Valley High School... helped team to a 2006 League Championship, batting .294 with 12 RBI, 10 walks, and a .433 OBP in 25 games... earned Second Team All-League honors... also played two years of football.
PERSONAL: Born in September of 1988 in San Francisco, CA... son of Kevyn and Cynthia Higgs... goal for the season to help the team win a conference championship... chose USF because of the coaches, the weather, and it's close to home...would like to be Coach Moore for a day to see what really goes on in there... best advice for youngsters is 'Finish your food'... favorite movie is The Natural... favorite food is a burger, fries and a coke... majoring in Business Administration.
