2011 SEASON: Finished career sixth in program history in total strikeouts with 176… tied for the team lead in wins with six… made 18 appearances and 14 starts… pitched a team-high 94.1 innings… nine of his appearances went six or more innings… named Pitcher of the Week on March 14… held Lamar scoreless with one hit in 1.1 innings with two strikeouts (3/3)… earned his first save of the season after pitching a spotless ninth inning against UC Santa Barbara… longest outing of the season was eight innings in a win against Louisiana Lafayette where he held the Ragin’ Cajuns scoreless with just two hits (3/13)… totaled a season-best eight strikeouts in a win at Fresno State (4/3)… held Portland to just one run in seven innings with three strikeouts (4/17)… earned his sixth win of the season after striking out seven in a seven-inning outing against Pepperdine (5/14)… pitched his first complete game of the season against UC Irvine in the NCAA Los Angeles Regional, giving up four runs on seven hits with two strikeouts in only 98 pitches (6/4).

2010 SEASON: Made 10 appearances and put in 41 innings of work… totaled 25 strikeouts with two saves… finished year with a 1-5 record and 5.71 ERA… pitched 5.1 scoreless innings at Saint Mary’s, striking out six and scattering three hits (4/18)… struck out five in 4.1 innings against Gonzaga (4/10)… sat down five batters via strikeouts in a five-inning outing against Portland (5/16)… gave up just one run in seven innings with four strikeouts at Pepperdine (5/30).

2009 SUMMER: Played for the Orleans Cardinals in the prestigious Cape Cod Baseball League... appeared in 13 games, finished five and posted a 2-1 record with a 3.27 ERA... walked just seven batters in 33 innings of work and struck out 27.

2009 SEASON: Appeared in 19 games with 10 starts as a sophomore... three time WCC Pitcher of the Week... finished the season 4-6, 3.43 ERA... led the Dons with 88 strikeouts 89.1 innings... also led the Dons with a 3-to-1 strikeout-to-walk ratio (88-to-29)... made Dons debut at the University of Texas - San Antonio, tossing an inning of relief and striking out two (2/21)... the next day, struck out six in 4.1 innings of relief at UTSA (2/22)... in first start, earned a no decision after a 7.0 inning, 10 strikeout performance against Oklahoma State in the Palm Springs Tournament (3/7)... earned his first save at Washington (3/13)... took his first victory in the Washington finale, tossing 8.0 innings and striking out eight (3/15)... second win came in a start against Santa Clara (4/19)... tossed first complete game to earn the win (3) at Pepperdine, striking out a career high 12 (4/26)... fourth win and second complete game came at San Diego, striking out eight (5/10)... tossed 8.0 innings with seven strikeouts in final appearance at Portland (5/17).

2008 SUMMER: Led Bethesda Big Train at 3-0, 0.00 ERA in 18 appearances... had one start and a complete game shutout... led team with 10 saves... in 33.2 innings pitched did not allow an earned run, struck out 37 and walked just two... opponents batted just .148.

AT SANTA CLARA (2007-2008): Appeared in seven games as a freshman in 2007. Redshirted in 2008.

PREP CAREER: Played four years of baseball and one year of basketball at Capistrano Valley High School... played on four South Coast League Championship Teams, named All-South Coast League... played club for Encinitas Reds who were National Wood Bat Champions in 2005 ... pitched in the USA Goodwill Series in 2005 versus Australia ... in 2006 pitched in USA Goodwill Series versus Japan.

PERSONAL: Born in September of 1987 in Simi Valley, CA... son of Michael and Ronnie Hiserman... goal for the season is to compete for a WCC Championship... chose USF for the people... likes the food in San Francisco... favorite quote is "Carpe Diem"... plans to earn a Masters Degree after graduation... favorite movie is Gladiator... favorite book is Angels and Demons... favorite musical artist is Journey... favorite food is fajitas... biggest sports thrill was a walk off kick in a third grade kickball tournament... favorite sports hero is David Wells... hobbies include bowling and billiards... majoring in Finance.
