2014 SEASON: Zimmer lived up to the high expectations that came with his preseason All-American status... started all 54 games for the Dons... hit .368 with seven home runs and 31 RBI and stole a career-high 21 bases... had a 19-game hitting streak from Mar. 8 to Apr. 10, was the longest streak in the nation at the time... on Mar. 30, his batting average reached a season-high of .433... is the only player in the nation in the top 50 in steals (21) and top 60 in slugging (.573)... named to Golden Spikes Award Midseason Watch List... named to Golden Spikes Award 30-man Watch List... won Bill Russell Award, given to a male USF student-athlete for outstanding athletic performance... named to All-WCC Team for second time, named First Team All-America by Baseball America and Perfect Game.
2014 PRESEASON: In December, he was named to the Louisville Slugger Preseason All-American First Team by Collegiate Baseball… he is the only West Coast Conference player to make any of the three teams and one of only five to be playing west of the Mississippi on the first team... on Jan. 20 he was named to his second All-American team, this time Perfect Game USA's first team.

SUMMER 2013: Zimmer found himself wearing red, white and blue for the USA Collegiate National Team, where he excelled by hitting .300 with a home run, 11 RBI and a team-best 11 stolen bases… rounded out his summer by rejoining the Cotuit Keetleers of the Cape Cod League, leading them to a league championship and earned postseason MVP honors.

2013 SEASON: Zimmer may be one of the more talented players in the country and was one of the catalysts for the Dons in 2013... named to the All-WCC Team… played in 58 games, hit .320 with seven home runs, 37 RBI and 19 stolen bases... had a team-high .512 slugging percentage and team-best .949 OPS... he played even better in WCC play… hit .333 in 24 conference games with five home runs and 18 RBI with an OPS of 1.059 and did not commit an error in 56 chances… tallied a 13-game hit streak from Feb. 26 to Mar. 22 in which he hit .396 with eight extra base hits and 12 RBI… he hit two home runs at Gonzaga on Mar. 17 in a 9-3 USF win… went 7-for-10 with five RBI in the series at BYU… stole multiple bases in a single game four times.
2012 SUMMER: Hit .279 in 61 at bats ... hit seven home runs and drove in 32 ... slugged .490 and posted a .343 on-base percentage.
2012 SEASON (Freshman): Started 42 games, the most of any freshman on the team, primarily playing right field ... hit .242 in 153 at-bats with nine doubles, one triple, and 15 RBI ... nine doubles ranked sixth on the team, while one triple was tied for first ... was a perfect 3-for-3 on the basepaths, ranking third on the team in steals ... registered first collegiate hit against Nevada, going 1-for-4 (2/21) ... recorded first extra-base hit, a double, against Missouri on (2/25) ... had two three-hit games, the first coming against Cal State Northridge on March 2 ... recorded eight multi-hit games and four multi-RBI games.
