2011 SEASON: Appeared in nine games for the Dons… first collegiate trip to the mound was against then No. 1 UCLA, where he recorded an out against the only batter he faced (2/20)… threw a hitless inning with one strikeout against San Jose State (3/15)… longest outing of the season came in a two-inning outing at Pacific (3/25)… struck out two batters in 0.2 innings against Cal Poly (4/5)… threw a hitless inning against San Francisco State (4/26)… struck out three in an inning of work against Cal State Bakersfield (5/24).
PREP CAREER: Was selected second-team All-Sonoma County League as a sophomore and junior… hit .344 as a junior… was injured during his senior season… also played three years of varsity basketball.
PERSONAL: Born in April of 1992 in Santa Rosa, Calif… parents are Martin and Brenda Graff… chose USF because of the coaching staff and location… favorite quote is from Yogi Berra, “90 percent of the game is mental, the other half is physical.”… goal at USF is to get the Dons back to the NCAA Regionals… thinks the best part about being a student athlete is being able to continue to play the sport he loves… favorite movie is Inception… favorite food is pesto pasta… major is media studies.
