2011 SEASON: Redshirt
2010 SUMMER: Played for the New Bedford Bay Sox in the New England Collegiate Baseball League and put in 35.1 innings of work, walking just two batters all summer and collecting two saves.
2010 SEASON: Made 15 appearances and pitched 26.2 innings… posted a 1-2 record with 15 strikeouts and a 6.75 ERA… threw a hitless inning at Cal Poly (2/26)… struck out three in a scoreless 2.2 innings outing at Cal Poly (2/28)… fanned three batters in two innings of scoreless work against Texas San Antonio (3/5)… held Cal State Bakersfield scoreless for an inning (3/10)… pitched three scoreless innings with three strikeouts against UC Santa Barbara (3/28)… longest outing of the season was 3.1 innings against California (3/23).
PREP CAREER: Played baseball at George Washington High School... earned two Second-Team All-Conference honors and two First-Team All-Conference honors... also earned Honorable Mention All-State... graduated eighth out of 400 students with a 4.93 G.P.A.
PERSONAL: Born in November of 1990 in Denver, CO... son of Don and Margaret Bobb...sister Chava Bobb played softball for West Point... goal for the season is to earn a spot on the pitching staff... chose USF because it was a good fit for him baseball-wise and academically... would like to be Michael Jordan for a day... lists his grandmother as the most impressive person he has met... would like to attend the World Cup... favorite movie is Green Street Hooligans... favorite book is DaVinci Code... favorite musical artist is Sublime... favorite food is Italian... hobbies include snowboarding and watching movies... major is undeclared.
