A native of Oakland, CA, 6' 3", 200 lbs. he attended USF and transferred to Dominican University. 

Before Dominican: Played at Cuyamaca College, where he was team captain and All-PCC Honorable Mention in 2011-12… Played three games for University of San Francisco in 2009-10… Averaged 6.7 mpg, 2.7 ppg, 1.0 rpg… All-BSAL in 2007 and 2008, All-BSAL Honorable Mention in 2006, All-City Honorable Mention in 2007-2008.
