Reid singled to left followed by a single to center bv designated hitter Steve Armanino. Alter a pitching change, Dennis Yamamoto hit the run scoring single to centerfield. USF mounted a rally in the sixth but fell short with just one run. Tom Lounibos singled with one out. Armanino followed with a single to right and Yamamoto drove in his second run of the series with a single to left (TheFoghorn).
