Harmon Beasley Rowe was born on August 22, 1923 in Livingston, TX and at 6' 2", 182 lbs., played defensive back and halfback for the Baylor Bears and the USF Dons. He was drafted in the 3rd Round (18th pick overall) in the 1946 NFL Draft. He played for the Pittsburgh Streelers, the New York Yankees and the New York Giants from 1946 to 1952. He appeared in a total of 59 AAFC and NFL games and tallied 11 interceptions for 162 yards (Wikipedia).
