Brent Kirsten played two seasons with the Dons at USF and founded Live USF, a live student TV news broadcast system. Brent is CEO and founder of DigitalCore production group.

On November 4, USF hosted St. Mary's al Negoesco Stadium. Greg Vandenberg scored on an assist from Brent Kirsten 20 minutes into the second half to break a scoreless tie. It was his tenth goal of the season, but the mood wasn't nearly as celebratory as when he conducted thc goal-scoring symphony in the MetLife. It seemed inevitable that the Dons would somehow squander the lead. With just over five minutes left in regulation, the Gaels scoring machine, Adam Bliss scored, knotting the game at 1-1, sending the Dons to their fourth tie of the year. "We're a very young team that's prone to making youthful mistakes," stated Head Coach Stephen Negoesco. "We have tied four games, and lost four by one goal; in all we had more chances to score (TheFoghorn)."
