Three or four sophs are going to hold berths on the first string varsity, to voice "Spud." And, Prentice Goldstone, speed burner from Galileo, All-City man and former California boy, has enrolled at the Hilltop. He doubtless will be ineligible for competition this season but he's up here. Goldstone will probably prove to be faster than any of the other Don backs.
Prentiss Goldstone, former Galileo high trackster and star halfback, will give the favorites plenty to think about. Gold- stone in prep days has done 9.9 on several occasions. He is expected to bolster the Don short distance division (TheFoghorn).
