In men's Intramurals football this week, MRAC stomper the Strokers 32-0. Touchdowns were made by Tom Lounibus Demurk, Bob McSweeney, and Bill McSweeney.

Of the three major sports here at USF, only one has a Junior Varsity representation: baseball. It is quite obvious that the JV's don't get the coverage any of the Varsity teams do. Of the two baseball teams, the JV's have the better record, albeit not playing as many games as Coach Benedetti's squad. The Junior Dons have compiled an 11-6 overall record this year and sport a 4-6 league record. The JV's are led by coach Ed Sickenger. Sickenger is no newcomer to the game. He was signed by the San Francisco Giants in 1971, and last year he led San Francisco State to a second place finish in the Golden Gate Conference. Some of the top players looking forward to next year's Varsity squad are: Al Schubert, Greg Jewett, Ed Mitchell, Bob McSweeney and Gerry Chavarria. Schubert is the JV's hard-throwing right-hander who gets most of the starting calls. Jewett and McSweeney anchor the outfield in center and left. Mitchell is a competent shortstop and Chavarria is a hard hitting catcher (TheFoghorn).
