Alexis Rains has a Bachelor of Science in Business from University San Francisco. Upon graduation Alex worked in film production finance and production for major film studios for 9 years. Alex took a pause in her career to focus on her family and raise her three children. During that time she was an active volunteer for assorted charities, was the president of PTA's at two schools, was on the Rose Bowl Aquatics Dive Team board and was on the Temple Israel of Hollywood Board. Alex enjoys hiking, sailing and traveling.
In 2012 Alex started as a portfolio manager of the Engle Family Office portfolio. Then in 2017 Alex transitioned into acquisitions for The Engle Family Office. She conducted all of the pre purchase property sight visits and potential purchase pro-forma evaluations while continuing to be the portfolio manager. In 2020 Alex began handling the 1031 exchanges as well as new equity purchases and together with Donald Engle created the Engle Family Office Investing Group. Alex works with the existing national sponsor partners as well as cultivates new investment partnerships for the office. In 2022 Alex was responsible for the Engle Family Office office placing 42 million of equity and completing transactions for the purchase of real estate that had a total value of over 500 million (USCLusk).
