"The win against Air Force was a confidence booster. It was an especially great win for us coming back from being down two goals, combined with the hot climate," said defender Mike Crivello. Temperatures in Denver reached 95 degrees at points throughout the game. In addition to the heat, the heightened altitude also threw the Dons game off. But, they quickly adjusted and came from behind for the dramatic win. "Coming off the win against Air Force we feel that we can beat anyone. Our confidence going into the Diadora Tournament is very high," said junior player Mike Crivello. The Dons look to take down Loyola-Chicago in opening round action of the Diadora classic at Negoesco Stadium, this Friday night at 7:30pm.
