Men's Basketball (1990-1992)

An outstanding defensive player who was lost for a total of nine games (seven in the WCC) with an ankle injury, averaged 10.5 points, 5 rebounds, and .5 assists in 20 games. Came to USF from The College of the Sequoias. Weeks is a 6' 3", 180 lb. senior from Visalia, and will graduate in Sociology.

Thompson came off the bench to score 12 points while Owens added 10. Watson had 16 points for St. Mary's who only committed two turnovers compared to thc Dons' eight. The two-point deficit will be as close as St. Mary's will get as USF simply exploded to build a lead that at one point reached as high as 18 points. USF was leading 40-38 a minute into the second half when thc Dons proceeded on a 14-2 run for a 54-40 lead after a Kevin Weeks' three-pointer with 12:28 remaining. It was a case of too little and too late for the Gaels as they tried to mount a comeback. With the Dons leading 68-50 with 5:43 remaining, St. Mary's outscored the Dons 25-10 but fell short 78-75 (TheFoghorn).
